Merlina has over 20 years of experience, performing hundreds of shows a year. She has entertained hundreds of thousands of people with her unique cutting edge programs. Merlina is the recipient of some of the most prestigious awards in the field such as the coveted Merlin awarded by the International Magicians Society and the Cometa Magico which is awarded after a vote by the member societies around the world.  Merlina has appeared on Univision's Despierta America and several other television shows both in the U.S. and abroad. 

Her list of affiliations reads like a who's who of the art, she is a Life Member and Past President of the oldest and most prestigious magic society in the world, the Society of American Magicians; a Life Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians where she holds the title of Order of Merlin; she is a member of The Magic Circle with an A.I.M.C. with Silver Star degree (Associate of the Inner Magic Circle); and a member of the Academy of Magical Arts, Magic Castle among others.   She is also a member of the National Storytellers Network and the Florida Storytellers Association.

Merlina is very much in demand not just as a well known magician and magical storyteller but also as a motivational speaker; she also travels extensively sharing her knowledge and ideas as a lecturer to other performers and for conventions and clubs.

Su lista de afiliaciones lee como un quién es quién del arte,  es miembro vitalicio y ex Presidente de la sociedad de la magia más antigua y prestigiosa en el mundo, la Sociedad Americana de Magos (S.A.M.), un Miembro Vitalicio de la Hermandad Internacional de Magos (I.B.M.), donde ostenta el título de la Orden de Merlín, ella es un miembro de The Magic Circle con un AIMC con el grado de Estrella de Plata (Asociado del Círculo Mágico interior), y un miembro de la Academia de Artes Mágicas, el castillo de Magia, entre otros. Ella también es miembro de la Red Nacional de Narradores y la Asociación de Narradores de la Florida.
